DEFENDING THE COMBAT AGAINST CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

The Heart Fund's mission is to lower mortality due to cardiovascular diseases in developing countries. The Heart Fund collaborates with the United Nations, governments and the media to raise awareness and promote policies and

practices that reinforce the combat against cardiovascular diseases.

INFORMATION &
MEDIA

Cardiovascular diseases kill more people than cancer and AIDS combined. The Heart Fund's mission is to inform people in developing countries about prevention and in developed countries to spread this largely underestimated information.

Appeals from The Heart Fund are relayed by international media during press conferences or events. As of today, The Heart Fund has been mentioned in thousands of press articles and in over a billion media impressions.

AWARENESS
CAMPAIGN

Raising public awareness is primordial in pleading the cause. The Heart Fund joins forces with volunteer talents, artists and communicators to speak about heart diseases.

One of The Heart Fund's campaigns focuses on top model Inna Zobova, who underwent a heart operation when she was six and has been photographed by Peter Lindbergh. In partnership with Publicis 133, the campaign was launched and shown at the 2014 Cannes Festival, an international media event.

INSTITUTIONS &
GOUVERNMENTS

The Heart Fund includes the Sustainable Development Goals drawn up by the United Nations in its appeal strategy when meeting with institutions and governments.

Present during the United Nations events concerning the Post-2015 Development Agenda, The Heart Fund's mission was to promote access to high-quality cardiological care through education, innovation and global partnerships.
