ABOLISHING THE DISTANCE BARRIER

TELEMEDICINE

Telemedicine provides access to health and

education for all communities, without exception.

DEMOCRATIZING

CARE

The Heart Fund entrusts communities

with the responsibility of maintaining their

own health system.

Each telemedicine platform becomes the cornerstone of a health system, especially in developing countries. In Africa, there is one cardiology center for every 33 million inhabitants. With telemedicine, The Heart Fund gives people the opportunity to communicate with professionals about their health.

TRANSFER OF
MEDICAL INFORMATION

In developing countries, care is available in health centers that are often centralized in large cities. Most of the rural population must walk for days to reach a hospital. The Heart Fund has decided to end inequality and provide everyone with access to high-quality cardiological care.

Imagine a village equipped with a telemedicine platform that enables transferring medical data (electrocardiogram, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood sugar, etc.) and remote examination through videoconferencing. The Heart Fund brings a concrete solution: a reliable, portable and cost-effective telemedicine unit that allows democratizing medicine.

SKILL
TRANSFERT

Equipped with latest-generation technologies, The Heart Fund can communicate and be located in real time through its satellite telecommunication network.

The telemedicine unit includes an electrocardiograph, a pulse oximeter, a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that allow the local medical personnel or a community representative to interact with a remote specialist and discuss a patient's file.

The telemedicine platform also enables remote training with partner universities and a transfer of knowledge in the context of North-South cooperation.
