Mission 2015

In partnership with the Didier Drogba Foundation, The Heart Fund has created The Heart Mobile®, the first mobile cardiology clinic in Africa; it provides access to high-quality heart care for the most isolated communities.

 

When they met in 2012, soccer player Didier Drogba, who is an ambassador for the United Nations Development Program, and The Heart Fund founder Dr. David Luu joined forces to create an effective and economical solution to combat congenital cardiopathies.

By going directly to the people, The Heart Mobile enables free screening of infantile cardiopathies. Engineers and doctors worked together to develop this mobile clinic, which was designed for Africa.
